My hairs pissing me off!?

I have short hair like a little above my shoulders and I've had it this way for quite some time but I'm getting sick I'd it and want it long again so I can do stuff with it. My mom keeps telling that she love my hair, it's cute. Etc. But idk what to do with it anymore and now I'm crying! I just want to shave it all off! It's annoying me! I need help please! My keeps saying your foing through puberty and your just going to have to deal with it but other things have been happening an my hair is just making me mire upset... Please help thanks
